The Beaver County Democratic Committee is thrilled to announce its award winners for 2020:

• Liberty Leader Award: Rep. Rob Matzie, D-16
• Lifetime Achievement Award: Nancy Werme, former Beaver County Prothonotary
• Rising Star Award: Erin Kelley, Democratic campaign consultant
• Volunteer of the Year: Olga Bobish, co-chair, Volunteer Recruitment & Deployment, Democratic Committee 

These hard-working Democrats will be honored during the BCDC’s 2020 Liberty Leaders Banquet at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 29, 2020, at Shadow Lakes Country Club in Aliquippa. The keynote speaker for this event will be Tom Conway, International President, USW AFL-CIO, CLC.
