You can give voters a choice in November by writing in Kate Lennen for Senator in the General Assembly for District 47 on you primary ballot. It's time to hand deliver your ballot to the Courthouse or make a plan to vote next Tuesday.#5 Healthcare-we all need it but it’s still not affordable for everyone and in certain rural areas it’s becoming less accessible. This is a photo of my beloved husband, Joel, whom we lost in 2022, after an almost three year battle with pancreatic cancer. As business owners we were self insured through the Affordable Care Act and what a blessing that was for us. His cancer treatments cost $250,000 each and he had four sessions. I called him my million dollar man! But, we were terrified during the 2020 election. It was and continues to be the goal of Republicans to repeal the ACA and that would devastate so many families with pre-existing conditions like ours. Even today with access to the Affordable Care Act, it infuriates me to see Go Fund Me pleas for healthcare costs. This is America, the greatest country, and we can’t or won’t take of our most vulnerable. How many people stay in jobs they hate solely for access to healthcare benefits? That is a loss of entrepreneurial talent. If you write my name in on April 23, and I make it to Harrisburg in November, be assured that I will do everything in my power to get affordable access to healthcare for everyone in District 47.
