Tuesday, November 4th is Election Day!

The Ballot
busy volunteers

All of our communities have elections for school board, municipal seats, and the judge and inspector of elections. Find the sample ballot for your municipality on the Beaver County Board of Elections website.

The first two choices you must make are for the Superior and Commonwealth Courts. Vote for Brandon Neuman and Stella Tsai. Both are highly recommended by the PA Bar Association and endorsed by Labor.

If you live in Conway, East Rochester, Economy, Freedom, New Sewickley, or Rochester Borough, vote for John Farmer for District Magistrate. John (below) is a patrolman for the Rochester Police Department. He has a record of service in the Beaver County community and a desire to protect it with fairness, compassion, and honesty.

On the back of your ballot, vote Yes to retain all of the judges, including Beaver County’s own Judge Fouse.

Vote by Mail FAQ
Beaver County is doing a great job returning mail ballots this year! Don’t see an email stating your ballot was received? Check the status.

🗳️If you received a mail-in ballot but want to vote at the polls, take your ballot and envelopes with you. They will be destroyed, and you will vote using a regular ballot.

If you requested but didn’t receive your mail-in ballot, you are legally entitled to fill out a provisional ballot at the polls.

Still need to fill out your ballot and return it? It must be RECEIVED, not just postmarked, by Election Day, so it is TOO LATE to put it in the MAIL.

🫵Only you or your 🙋designated agent can drop off your ballot at the Board of Elections at the 🏛️ Beaver County Courthouse on 810 3rd Street in Beaver. If you wait until Tuesday, the front entrance will be closed. Go to the door off of the parking lot at the back of the building.

Follow these instructions to complete your mail ballot.

✍️Use blue or black ink to fill in the ovals. Make sure you turn it over and vote YES to retain all of the judges on the back.

📩Place the ballot in the yellow envelope labeled Official Election Ballot.

❌DON’T make any marks on this envelope. (Test your pen on something else.)

💌Seal the yellow envelope and place it in the return envelope with YOUR NAME on the back. Don’t sign the envelope that belongs to another member of your household!

✍️Seal, sign, and add the date on the outside of the envelope. Return the ballot to the Courthouse.

Voting at the Polls

Do you have a plan to vote in person? Find your polling place here. Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm.

1st Time Voting? New Polling Place?

If you are a first-time voter or voting at a new polling place, be prepared to show an accepted form of ID.

Issues?

If you are told that you cannot vote using a regular ballot for any reason (not registered, wrong polling place, requested a mail ballot, etc.), you are legally entitled to request and receive a provisional ballot.

If you have an accessibility issue, learn more about available accommodations here.

If you experience problems with the above or witness voter intimidation or other issues, ask to speak to the Judge of Elections in charge of the polling place. If the issue isn’t resolved, call 1-833-PA-VOTES. Then, call our Chair, Erin Gabriel, at 781-534-2541.

Emergency Absentee Ballot

If you have an illness, emergency, or last-minute, unexpected absence from your municipality, you can request an emergency absentee ballot.

Thank YOU!

It was a busy October leading up to this Election, with our biggest fundraiser of the year on the 11th and our biggest rally so far just a week later. Our community showed up for both, and we are incredibly grateful!

At the banquet, we were fortunate to hear from the judges, PA Dems Chair Eugene DePasquale, our Congressman Chris Deluzio, and keynote speaker, US Senator Elissa Slotkin of Michigan. Thank you to our banquet sponsors and advertisers (below), our guests, and silent auction bidders. You make it possible for us to contact our voters to educate them about the election and get them out to the polls, this year and next.

The atmosphere at our 2nd No Kings Rally was encouraging and fortifying. More than 1200 people attended. We collected over 60 coats, numerous other winter items, and non-perishable food. We were excited to see old friends and meet new allies. Everyone felt good knowing that others in Beaver County are fighting for democracy, due process, and our Constitution.
