Democratic state representative candidate for the 15th district, Michael Rossi of Center Township, held his first major fundraiser event Wednesday, June 29, at Heirloom Restaurant in Beaver. Over 75 people were on hand. The crowd was treated to delicious food from owner and executive chef Rich Montini.
Elected officials in attendance were Beaver County Commissioner Tony Amadio, Beaver County Prothonotary Nancy Werme, and former Commissioner Joe Spanik. Introducing Rossi was Carol Gentile, wife of Beaver County Democratic Party Chairman Lou Gentile, who was unable to attend.
Mrs. Gentile gave a passionate, riveting speech not only about Rossi and his values, but about democratic values and what the party stands for. Rossi then spoke about what he stands for: his love for his family and a passion for helping other people. This event kicks off what promises to be a competitive campaign season that will last the next four and a half months up until the election in November.
