Let's Win This, Harris for President
WOW!

The Beaver County Democratic Committee is receiving a lot of attention because of OUR COLLECTIVE work.

We aren’t just being recognized because of what we’ve done in the last few weeks or months; many people have been doing the work for years, tagging in and out as they are able. We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. We are grateful.

In case you missed it, on Sunday, August 18th, Vice President Kamala Harris, her running mate Gov. Tim Walz, and their spouses stopped at our HQ in Rochester. They were there to kick off phone banking and canvassing with a small number of volunteers invited by the campaign.

We were required to keep the stop a secret for safety reasons; however, it was hard to miss the tent in our parking lot. Many people gathered on Adams Street, hoping for a glimpse of our soon-to-be nominees for President and Vice President. The busses then drove to Aliquippa, where the candidates addressed student-athletes. Five photos below by our friend Erin at Rustbelt Mayberry.

After the bus tour, all eyes turned towards Chicago for the Democratic National Convention. During the roll call of states, our own Dwan Walker, Mayor of Aliquippa, kicked off the Pennsylvania delegation’s moment in the spotlight. Click the photo below to watch the clip on YouTube.

On the last night of the convention, our Rochester office watch party was featured on the big screen at the arena in Chicago and was visible to those watching from home as we cheered on Kamala Harris when she accepted the Democratic nomination for President.

Then, over the weekend, we attended Demstock, a rally for rural Pennsylvania Democrats from across the state, and we were proud to see our logo featured in a report on MSNBC.
