A lot is happening. The Trump/Musk administration is creating chaos to get us to tune out. Please remember that you don’t have to know or do everything, but everyone can do something. 
 
You can start by calling both of Pennsylvania’s Senators to share your opinion on cabinet confirmations or other issues. They tally the calls they receive. Your voice can make a difference.
 
Give your name and zip code. Briefly state the reason for your call and be polite to the staffers. Some examples:
  • I would like the Senator to vote/not vote for…
  • I want to register my agreement/disagreement with…
  • I support/do not support … How will the Senator vote on this issue?

Join Congressman Chris Deluzio for a Telephone Town Hall tonight, February 6th at 6 pm, for an update on what is happening in Washington.

 

If you haven’t signed up before, you can register to receive a call to join the conversation by visiting deluzio.house.gov/live. You can also listen live on his Facebook page. 

We celebrated our volunteers at our January Winter Party. 

We thanked the volunteers who knocked doors, texted, wrote postcards, staffed the office, delivered signs, and volunteered on Election Day.

Special recognition went to our sign captain, Scott, and postcard captain, Kimberly.

We welcome new faces for this fight. The relationships we form keep us coming back and strengthen our community.

We are excited to meet and train new volunteers. We will need to be creative about fighting the Republican agenda, and we must contact voters about retaining our Democratic judges. We also need to fill precinct committee seats, staff the office and events, chase ballots, and greet voters at the polls.

Our courts are our last line of defense, making 2025 judicial retentions more crucial than ever.

 

On Saturday, March 1st, from 3:30 – 5 pm, meet the statewide judicial candidates in a small setting to learn about the importance of retaining the judges we have and electing even more to defend our rights! We will have light refreshments and lots of comradery.

 

Register on Mobilize. The address will be sent to registered attendees closer to the event’s date.

  • Beaver County Peace Links holds a rally every Saturday, weather permitting, from 1 – 2 pm at the Courthouse, 810 3rd St, Beaver.
  • A new PFLAG Beaver County chapter has formed to support, advocate and perform outreach for our LGBTQ+ community.
  • Beaver County United stands for strong communities and family-sustaining jobs.
  • BCMAC focuses on environmental issues
